A linking ending that puts two or more facts on equal footing.
있다
어느 곳에서 떠나거나 벗어나지 아니하고 머물다.
To stay in a place without leaving or leaving
문법 Grammar
▶ V-고 있다
동사의 어간에 붙어 동사가 진행 중이거나 동사의 결과가 현재까지 유지되고 있음을 나타낸다.
It is attached to the stem of a wear verb to indicate that the verb is in progress or that the result of the verb is maintained to the present.

*착용 동사 예(Examples of wear verbs): 끼다, 메다, 벗다, 신다, 쓰다, 입다, 하다 and etc
'V(착용 동사)-고 있다'는 '있다' 대신 다른 동사와 함께 사용할 수도 있습니다.
'V(wear verb)-고 있다' can also be used with other verbs instead of '있다' as well.

가: 부인은 어디에 계세요?
A: Where is your wife?
나: 저기 결혼 반지를 끼고 있는 사람이에요.
B: She’s the one wearing a wedding ring over there.
회사에 정장을 입고 다녀요.
I wear a suit to work.

You have to take off all your clothes before entering the bath.
