Offer Description The Cluster of Excellence ROOTS is offering a position as Research Associate (PostDoc) at the earliest possible start date in East Asian Studies with a focus on Cultural Anthropology, Environmental Studies and Social Sciences. The position is classified up to salary grade 14 TV-L provided that the tariff-related requirements are met. The regular weekly working hours are 100% of a full-time position (currently 38.7 hours). Scientific environmentThe Cluster of Excellence ROOTS (Social, Environmental, and Cultural Connectivity in Past Societies) at Kiel University explores the deep history of tightly intertwined social and environmental processes, in order to explain their long-term developments and to understand how they resonate into the present (https://www.uni-kiel.de/en/cluster-roots).
