About us

A Korean Language School in the heart of the CBD, offering small group classes at various levels of Korean, from absolute beginners to advanced. We teach students passionate about learning not just the language, but also about Korean culture. A love of Korean drama, K-Pop and food culture are what bind our students together. They are dedicated and passionate, regularly meeting outside of the classroom. Our school also hold events throughout the year and as a result, we have developed a dedicated team of teachers and learners. About you

As a tutor in My Korean School you will:

• Prepare lessons that address individual learning needs and pathway goals
• Deliver highly engaging Korean language training
• Work as part of a team, sharing teaching ideas and approaches
• Contribute to the development of learning and assessment resources

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in teaching Korean or other subjects are essential.
• Advanced level of written and spoken English
• Advanced level of written and spoken Korean
• Must have a minimum 2 years work visa.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Teaching Korean at various levels, both face-to-face and over Zoom platform
• Organising lesson plans, teaching materials and slideshow presentations – All the materials are given by the school.
• Setting homework and vocabulary print outs to support learning in the classroom
• Knowledge of Google Workplace (apps including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs etc)
