Job Description

Position: Korean Teacher for foreigners (Part-time)
Location:  Korean International School (International Section)

Responsibilities

  • Korean teacher for international students (Teaching Korean in English)
  • Preparing Korean cultural event in school
  • Other Ad-hoc duties

Contract period, Salary

  • Contract period: August 19, 2023 – August 31, 2025 (The contract can be renewed according to the teacher’s intention and school decision.)
  • Salary: HKD 350 per session
Working hour
  • approx. 12 session per week.
  • The work day and time will be determined according to the timetable and will be discussed later.
Requirements

1) Required

  • Must meet at least one of the following qualifications

         – Korean Primary school teacher’s Certificate holder

         – Korean Secondary teacher’s Certificate holder (Korean Language)

         – Certificate of Korean Language Teacher (Korean Primary school teacher’s Certificate or Korean Secondary teacher’s Certificate is required))

  • Permanent Resident in Hong Kong or relevant visa holder (Employment Visa Dependent Visa)
  • Must be able to teach in English

 2) Preferred

  • Regular teacher experience in Korea or Hong Kong
  • Hong Kong EDB Registered Teacher
  • Experience in teaching music and dance
