Korean Language Instructor, New Generation Myanmar

• Bachelor’s degree in Korean, Linguistics, or a closely related field is required.
• Consistent access to the internet and electricity, including solar power or any other source.
• Owns personal laptop or computer with camera.
• Digital Literacy skills – proficiency with general internet and email usage.
• Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the formal academic period.
• Capable of creating a dynamic Korean syllabus based on the learning abilities and previous knowledge of the student base.
• A Master’s degree in Korean Language Education or a related area is highly preferred.
• TOPIK, or equivalent Korean language teaching certification is well appreciated.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Korean with a focus on the core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and inspire students across various proficiency levels.
• Fluency in Korean with advanced proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology into teaching to enhance learning experiences. Familiarity with language learning platforms, online resources, and multimedia tools for language teaching.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust teaching methods based on students’ evolving needs, feedback, and learning environments.
• Experience teaching in multicultural settings is preferred, with an understanding of cultural sensitivities and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute well-structured and engaging Korean lessons.
• Prepare educational materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
• Utilize online learning platforms effectively to enhance the teaching experience.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the organization to improve educational outcomes.
• Engage in joint teaching initiatives and projects with NGM.
