We are excited to announce openings for adjunct faculty positions in our Korean graduate program. These positions are available for one of four terms: Summer 1, Fall, Spring, and Summer 2, within our Master of Arts degree program in Korean. The Summer sessions will take place in picturesque, Vermont, while both semesters will be delivered in a hybrid format. Our unique MA program in Korea places a strong emphasis on Korean Pedagogy.

We are actively seeking candidates who possess the following qualities and qualifications:

Position: Adjunct Faculty – Korean Graduate Program

Responsibilities

Delivering graduate-level courses in Korean as a Foreign Language (KFL), Linguistics, or Applied Linguistics. Course examples include Structure of Korean for Teachers, Pedagogical Grammar, Language Analysis, and Teaching Languages Online.

Collaborating with the faculty to develop both synchronous and asynchronous curriculum for these courses.

Working closely with other faculty members and language instructors within the graduate program.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

Hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field.

Demonstrate a strong record of research in Korean as a Foreign Language.

Possess a genuine dedication to student learning and a proven ability to work effectively as part of an instructional team.

In certain circumstances, ABDs (those who have completed all but their dissertation) will also be considered.
