Korean Language Teacher Training Program Assistant
Location: Remote Role type: Casual Faculty: Arts School: Asia Institute Salary: UOM 6 – $60.26 – $65.23 p/h plus 10.5% super

About the Role This role offers an exciting opportunity for an expert in Korean Language Education. As the Korean Language Teacher Training Program Assistant at the prestigious Asia Institute, you will contribute to the administration and management of the University of Melbourne’s renowned program. Work closely with the Korean Studies team, curate the program, and engage with guest lecturers and students. Make a significant impact in Korean language education and contribute to program success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with the Korean Language Teacher Training Program Coordinators within the Asia Institute
- Assisting with the development and administration of the teacher training program
Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with excellent written and oral communication skills in Korean. Additionally, they should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
You will also have:
- Experience in managing events, specifically in relation to Korean Studies and Korean Language Teaching
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Korean language
- Demonstrated expertise in new media technologies and online teaching

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
