| Job Summary/Basic Function | Lead TeacherImplement the educational curriculum.Coordinate and administer program: schedule classes and activities, handle correspondence and administer evaluations.Conduct regular staff meetings for purposes of communication, logistical planning and educational improvement of the program.TeacherUnder the direction of the Lead Teacher, plan, teach and assess language classes and activities on line.Maintain communication with the Lead Teacher on the progress of all villagers in the class.Maintain accurate grade records, complete mid-session progress reports and final evaluations. Cultural AssistantParticipate in all aspects of Village life, including activity classes, study halls (credit program), song times, evening programs, cultural presentations and staff meetings. Lead or assist as directed.Lead games, Cabin Council and other activities as directed.Complete other tasks as assigned by the Lead Teacher. |
