The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position, at the Assistant Professor level, in Korean Studies in the Humanities and Humanistic Social Sciences, effective July 1, 2024. Applicants working in the field of Media Studies are particularly welcome to apply.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment, and native or near-native fluency in Korean and English is required. The University and the Department place a high priority on research excellence and high-quality instruction; we seek applicants who will contribute to the broader intellectual life of the department and university.
