Adjunct Faculty, Korean Instructor – SP24

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications:
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
A pre-employment background check at the Colleges’ expense is required.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree is required, preferably in Korean.
- The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Korean and experience teaching Korean at the college level.
- Consideration will also be given to native speakers of Korean who have a Master’s Degree in a language-teaching-related
area such as Korean or English education, Linguistics, or Second Language Acquisition. - A teaching approach grounded in a communicative language acquisition approach is essential.
- Expertise with online and hybrid delivery modes is desirable, but face to face teaching is expected
