RESPONSIBILITIES
The Korean Teacher is responsible to the School Principal in the execution of professional duties and responsibilities:
Job Role & Responsibilities
Undertake the teaching of a class in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and guidelines
- Create meaningful language opportunities for children where a love for Korean language and culture can be promoted
- Ensure planning, delivery and assessment for Korean language curriculum from N2 to grade 5
- Source and create resources to support the teaching and learning
- Establish an effective and responsive classroom environment where children are active participants
- Document children’s learning through contributions towards newsletters, class displays and children’s reports as per the school policy
- Responsible for all aspects of classroom management, which will include safety and hygiene of the children and resources of the centre
- Work closely with other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties
- Build and maintain close partnership with parents
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are we looking for:
Job Requirements
- Korean teaching degree or Korean language teaching qualification or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience with students in the age range of 3-15
- Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry based learning
